For all its institutional funds, Goodwell offers private investors, family offices and foundations the opportunity to join through a feeder structure. Goodwell manages 7 feeder funds: GMDC I, II, III and IV; Goodwell Belgium Impact I and II, and Goodwell V.
Creating a foundation of catalytic capital
Since our inception, we have witnessed that an inclusive economy and impactful ecosystems do not emerge organically – they need the support of early, risk-tolerant capital that helps unlock new market structures, institutions, and intermediaries.
Our feeder funds are designed to fill this catalytic capital gap. The feeder pools impact-focussed investors who want their investments to serve as an anchor for our institutional funds, thereby loweringthe threshold for institutional investors to join the investor base.
uMunthu I created significant impact, with 20 portfolio companies leading to the creation of 2,000+ jobs and serving over 322 million people across 36 countries. uMunthu II will build on these successes, thanks to a diversified investor base of institutional investors, development finance institutions, private wealth and family offices.
